Thanksgiving pics and Christmas

Thursday, November 29, 2007

Since I try to go in time order, I thought I'd start with the pictures Susan sent me from her camera at Thanksgiving.

We attempted to take family pictures. Leni looks mildly amused, but not so smiley.
Isn't the dress that Susan made sweet? The front yoke is buttoned on, and there's a snowman underneath. Sweet girl. I copied these off shutterfly, but not sure why this one is small and no others are...
Trying on coats in a store in Meridian. We thought this was pretty hilarious.
A sweet girl with her mama.
Smiling! Elena and her daddy both smiling simultaneously!
Family pictures...Elena wasn't cooperating, so Cliff-the-photo-shop-genius cropped her head and exchanged it...

These are from the Sevierville Christmas thing-Lisa sent them recently. You can see how much Leni liked Santa...

These were taken this week at my dad's office. They set up their Christmas background for anyone who wanted their pictures taken. We did, of course. And, brought Cami who looks adorable here. Leni wasn't quite as cooperative.

Sweet godsisters.

This is the Christmas dress I made. You can't really see it in these, but it has little Christmas mice smocked around the top. The bottom is entredeaux, insertion lace, and a border lace-it took forever, but I'm pretty pleased with the results.

This candy cane made her the most happy-what little kid likes peppermint? It made her the most unhappy when she had red stuff all over her mouth and I took it away before she dripped it on the dress that took months to make...

Family pictures...
This is probably the best one of us-Elena has that snorty face, but was generally happy.
Gigi sent her this little Santa dress-it's pretty darling on her. She cheered up at the end of picture taking, but it was a little roar-y still.

That's it! Susan, Gigi, Mom, Avery, Cliff, Grandma-I have pictures printed and coming your way, when I can get the rest of them in there! Have a good week!
